Jia Chen — Founder & Creative Director, JC Studios Love
I’m Jia (pronounced “Jah”), and I discovered my passion for photography in 2018, when what began as a creative hobby quickly grew into a career I love. My early work as a photojournalist for Texas Public Radio sharpened my storytelling skills. It taught me how to capture moments of genuine emotion — something that’s now at the heart of my wedding photography style.
Along the way, I photographed everything from maternity sessions and engagements to graduations and even dating profile pictures. But over time, I found my true calling: wedding photography.
My approach is direct yet compassionate. I’ll guide you to each pose. With seven years of experience, I’m here to ensure your wedding is captured beautifully from start to finish!

Hi, I’m Kennedy.
I’m a portrait and editorial photographer with a soft spot for candid moments, bold colors, and the little details that tell the biggest stories. My work blends the intentionality of fine art with the honesty of real life, because the best photos feel like memories you can step back into.

Whether I’m shooting an intimate wedding, a high-energy editorial, or a quiet portrait session, my goal is always the same: to make you feel comfortable, confident, and seen. I believe the magic happens when we create together not just when I click the shutter.
Based in Texas (but always down to travel), I bring a mix of creativity, reliability, and a dash of “let’s try something wild” to every project. If you’re looking for someone who can capture your vision and make the process feel fun, you’ve found the right lens.
